Position Overview

We are seeking an
immediate hire
for a
Temporary Lab Operations Manager
to oversee the daily operations of our dental lab and ensure smooth coordination between production, design, and client teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of
dental terminology
, excellent
organizational and communication skills
, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

This position is for an initial
2-month term
, with the
possibility of transitioning into a full-time permanent role
for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage
    daily lab operations
    , ensuring timely completion of all cases.
  • Coordinate communication between clinicians, technicians, designers, and management.
  • Review incoming case files for completeness and accuracy (including DICOM, STL, and related formats).
  • Maintain workflow tracking systems and ensure clear documentation of each case.
  • Manage
    inventory and supplies
    , ensuring materials are stocked and organized.
  • Develop and implement
    standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Support reporting, record management, and administrative duties related to lab operations.
  • Accounts receivable management

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience
    in dental lab operations, dental office management, or related healthcare environment.
  • Solid understanding of
    dental and implant terminology
    and workflows.
  • Excellent
    organizational, communication, and problem-solving
    skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including
    Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
    ,
    Microsoft Excel
    , and
    Moranis
    .
  • Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Diploma or degree in Dental Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Two professional references required.

Contract Details

  • Start Date:
    Immediate (as soon as possible).
  • Duration:
    2 months (potential to transition to full-time employment).
  • Compensation:
    Competitive hourly or monthly rate, based on experience.
  • Schedule:
    Full-time, Monday–Friday (on-site or hybrid).
