Cornerstone Christian Church of God is seeking a candidate to fill a casual/part-time position within our Children's Ministry. The qualified candidate must be a Christian and have childcare experience or a teaching education background.

This position requires the candidate to be available to work on Thursday evenings and Sundays, with occasional Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, or any other special events.

Our church is located in the Capilano area: Ottewell / Kenilworth Communities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the Children's Church Ministry.
  • Engage children in educational activities and lessons that promote spiritual growth and development.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate programs and events.
  • Support children with disabilities by adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff and volunteers to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their children's progress and well-being.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
