About the Role

We are a growing garment decoration business specializing in embroidery, DTF (Direct-to-Film), dye sublimation, and other transfer methods. We are seeking a capable, detail-oriented individual to take on a hands-on, semi-management role within our shop.

As a small business, this role is intentionally multi-faceted. The successful candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats — from customer service and artwork preparation to production, ordering, and daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both creative and technical work and takes pride in producing high-quality garments.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Sales Support

  • Assist customers in person, online, and over the phone
  • Help customers choose appropriate decoration methods and garments
  • Review artwork and provide recommendations when needed
  • Prepare quotes and generate invoices
  • Ensure a positive, professional experience from inquiry through completion

Graphic Design & Digitization

  • Prepare artwork for embroidery, DTF, sublimation, and transfer printing
  • Perform or assist with embroidery digitization
  • Ensure artwork meets production and quality standards
  • Make light design edits or create simple designs as required

Production & Equipment Operation

  • Operate embroidery machines, heat presses, and related equipment
  • Prepare garments and transfers for production
  • Monitor quality control during production runs
  • Troubleshoot basic production issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

Operations & Inventory

  • Order garments, blanks, transfers, and shop supplies
  • Track inventory levels and anticipate restocking needs
  • Assist with scheduling and prioritizing production jobs
  • Support workflow improvements as the business grows

Leadership & Ownership (Semi-Management)

  • Take ownership of jobs from start to finish
  • Help establish workflows, standards, and best practices
  • Act as a point of accountability in daily operations
  • Assist with training or mentoring future team members as the team grows

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
  • Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
  • Willingness to take initiative in a small business setting

Assets / Preferred Experience

  • Graphic Design experience
  • Embroidery digitization experience
  • Garment printing or decoration experience (embroidery, DTF, dye sublimation, transfers, etc.)
  • Customer service experience
  • Familiarity with invoicing or POS systems
  • Experience in a print shop, apparel brand, or production environment
