Apparel Technical Product Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Apparel Junior Product Developer to support our design and development team in creating innovative outdoor apparel and accessories (including outerwear, bottoms, technical fleece, gaiters, beanies, and gloves). This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the product lifecycle, from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Design & Tech Pack Support: Assist in maintaining and updating Tech Packs (specs, BOMs, and construction details) following fitting and development meetings.
- Sample Management: Accurately measure and record garment specifications for all development samples.
- Fittings & Documentation: Present in fittings, take precise notes on adjustments and construction changes, and promptly apply those changes to the relevant tech packs.
- Color & Material Approval: Manage the request, tracking, and final approval of lab dips and trim submissions to meet development timelines.
- Library Management: Maintain and organize the digital asset library, including CADs, color standards, and material swatches.
- Administrative Tasks: Utilize Adobe Suite, Excel, and Google Suite products for reporting, data entry, and presentation support.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for technical sketching, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and G-Suite products.
- Clo3D, Optitex or other 3D programming a plus
This role is integral to support our design services division and will be focused on key customers with the opportunity for expanded responsibilities and growth.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
Pay: $38,772.07-$60,000.00 per year
