Overview

Looking for a Truck Transfer and Wagon driver. Pay depends on experience. Only hiring experienced driver.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods. This role involves operating a commercial vehicle, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. The Truck Driver will also be responsible for the upkeep of their vehicle and may be required to operate heavy equipment as needed.

Duties

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

Experience

  • Have to have Truck transfer and wagon experience
  • Need to have knowledge of all pits/dumps
  • Need to have job site experience, entering and exiting
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices is a plus.
