We have two vacancies within the produce department for full-time and part-time positions

Location:
310 Barrie St, Kingston, ON K7L 5L4
Shift:
Part-time: day availability preferred, and also evening and weekends, & 1 FT position: 1 evening a week with weekends

Our Produce team is fundamental to Metro's overall success with a focus on always fresh, in stock, and up to standards. The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner. They are also involved in servicing Metro's customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner

If you are interested in assisting customers and are passionate about the food industry the produce department is waiting for you

General Qualifications

  • Customer service driven
  • Able to stock merchandise and create displays
  • Good product knowledge and attention to detail
  • Retail experience considered an asset
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
