This is a vacant position. The rate for this position is $17.90/ hour. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years and must be available to work shifts starting at 6am.

  • Provide daily preventive maintenance to electrical rides in assigned areas
  • Respond to down calls on various rides, as well as troubleshoot and repair problems on rides as they arise
  • Maintain a daily log of the day's events for use by the following shift and to plan long term maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workshop and provide a safe work environment for all associates
  • Maintain sufficient stock supplies on location and inform supervisors of stock shortages
  • Repair or initiate repair of all mechanical breakdowns
  • Relamp all queue lines and specific rides as required
  • Repair and/or replace light fixtures
  • Have other opportunities to learn and expand knowledge

Qualifications
  • You
  • Candidates that are currently enrolled in or graduate of an Electrical Engineering or related post-secondary program
  • Someone that is willing to work in a hands-on environment, accept responsibilities and eager to learn the electrical trade
  • Individuals that are able to distinguish between wire colours, possess basic concepts of electricity and motors and ability to use a multi-meter
  • Someone who is comfortable with heights of up to 10 metres
  • Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver's license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract
  • Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including both a daytime (6:00am to 3:00pm) and afternoon (2:30pm to 11:00pm) shifts including weekends starting in September and October (6am-6pm)
