Electrical Engineering Technician/ Electrical Drafter
to join our Power Delivery Team, based in Toronto. Our Power Delivery team is directly involved with a multitude of different project types, ranging from High Voltage substations, Medium Voltage substations and Utility connections.

What can you expect to do here:

  • Develop and prepare electrical drawings, including single line diagram, schematics and connection diagrams for a variety of clients;
  • AutoCAD drawing preparation;
  • Conduct quality control checks of design drawings;
  • Ability to conduct site visits for review of electrical work is an asset;
  • Ability to carry out contract administration during construction is an asset;
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to WSP:

  • Graduate of Electrical Engineering Technology or equal with relevant experience, 2 to 5 years experience;
  • AutoCAD proficiency is an asset;
  • Meticulous attention to detail essential;
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel;
  • Strong mathematical skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and time management skills;
  • Willingness to work overtime when required;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities essential
