Job description

We are a busy clinic located just 12 minutes from the Square One area, and we are currently looking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments using our EMR system (Jane), processing patient payments, submitting direct insurance billings, and handling daily accounting. Additional duties will include light cleaning, laundry, and general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Training will be provided, with an opportunity to begin as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and external parties
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a positive, outgoing personality, and a natural ability to engage with patients and colleagues
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate seamlessly in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is an asset, with familiarity in managing patient interactions, handling sensitive information, and navigating healthcare software systems
  • Professionalism and discretion, especially when dealing with confidential patient information
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and anticipating the needs of both patients and the clinic team

Contract Position

Hourly Wage: $17.60 with room to grow

Expected hours - Evening and weekend availability required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
