Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team at Homemakers Company We are an eco friendly cleaning company located out of Waterdown, ON.

The ideal candidate will have experience in professional cleaning or residential cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and spaces. (including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Cleaning out fridges, ovens and microwaves. General tidying of spaces.)
  • Ensure all supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to maintain consistency in service delivery.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
  • Interact professionally with clients, addressing any specific requests or concerns regarding cleaning services and reporting back to management when needed.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in professional cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
