Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Electrical Apprentice to join our busy team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects, progress through your apprenticeship hours, and ultimately achieve your journeyman certification.
You will learn and assist with:
- Installing and repairing wiring, fixtures, and equipment for various electrical systems.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision.
- Bending and running conduit (EMT, Rigid, Flex).
- Installing lighting control systems, panel boards and service equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Following all provincial and company safety regulations.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Required:
- Currently registered or willing to register as an Electrical Apprentice in Ontario.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Previous construction site experience or completion of a relevant trade school apprenticeship program.
- Own basic hand tools.
