Flexographic Press Operator

Flexo operators required for all shifts.

This candidate must have the knowledge and skills required to run a narrow-web multi color flexo press.

The press operator must be able to read tickets and docket bags in order to produce quality labels and packaging to meet customer's expectations. Relevant press experience is required.

Must be familiar with:

  • UV inks and curing systems
  • Should have Experience working on Mark Andy Flexo Equipment
  • Water based inks and drying systems
  • Lamination stations
  • Flexible dies & die mounting
  • Diecutting
  • Tension controls
  • Web guides

Skills:

  • Must be able to troubleshoot printing and converting issues
  • Keeping pace in a fast moving environment without foregoing quality
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Organized
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Color analytics

This job also requires:

  • Being able to lift 50lbs
  • Managing large rolls of material
  • Standing for lengthy periods of time
