The Associate Director of Resource Management (ADRM) leads the Resource Management function for CDDS. Oversee resource assignment to guarantee that consultants with the appropriate capabilities are scheduled on projects that align with their expertise and project timelines. The ADRM oversees the maintenance of consultant skill data and identification of best-fit resources to support high-quality delivery.
The ADRM partners closely with Service Line Leaders, Operations Business Partners, Project Management, Business Development, and Operations to execute resource assignments efficiently and consistently. This role manages a small team of Resource Managers and ensures consistent processes, exceptional service, and operational excellence across the resource management lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Resource Management team responsible for aligning consultant skills and availability to project needs.
- Oversee day-to-day resource management operations, including intake, prioritization, and fulfillment of resource requests.
- Maintain and optimize consultant skills and experience database to support accurate, best-fit resourcing decisions.
- Partner with Service Line Leaders, Project Management, Operations Business Partners, and Business Development to ensure timely resource assignments and proactive resolution of resource constraints.
- Support review of sales pipeline and upcoming work to inform near-term staffing needs and assignment planning.
- Identify and escalate resource constraints or resourcing risks as needed to ensure delivery continuity.
- Establish and maintain consistent resource management processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on resource strategy, staffing risks, and resource assignment execution.
- Manage, coach, and develop a small team of Resource Managers to ensure consistent and high-quality support across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in resource management
- Strong understanding of consulting, skill-based resource allocation, and working within a PSA (project management system)
- Experience working in a deadline driven environment with demonstrated ability to meet short and long range deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable plan
Skills & Abilities:
Effective communicator with ability to facilitate meetings, anticipate needs, and manage flow of communication with internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical ability with proficiency in excel and PSA
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Process driven mindset and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
