BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

(Minor Plumbing & Drain Unclogging)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Position: Building Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Full-time / On-call

We are seeking a reliable Building Maintenance Technician to support residential apartment buildings in Edmonton, with a focus on minor plumbing repairs and drain unclogging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unclogging sinks, toilets, tubs, and floor drains

  • Handling minor drain blockages (no major sewer work)

  • Replacing faucets, traps, shut-off valves, and small plumbing components

  • Performing general handyman repairs in suites and common areas

  • Responding to tenant maintenance requests and minor emergency calls

  • Following Alberta safety standards and property procedure

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential building maintenance (Edmonton/Alberta experience is an asset)

  • Basic plumbing skills (minor repairs only)

  • Ability to work independently in occupied buildings

  • Professional and respectful communication with tenants

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites (asset)
