Attention Communicative Disorders Assistants in Eastern Ontario
All About Communication is a growing private practice which provides virtual, in-home and in-clinic Speech-Language Pathology services in Durham Region, Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Hastings and Prince Edward County and lots of places in between. We see a wide range of children and adults with articulation, motor-speech, language delays, literacy challenges, and developmental disorders including Autism and Down Syndrome. We are looking for a CDA who is able to work on Saturdays at our Oshawa Clinic.
We are currently seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant who is interested in furthering their career within our rapidly growing company. The perfect candidate would have some experience and special interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum as well as providing therapy services to children and adults in the areas of articulation, motor-speech, language, literacy, pragmatics and cognitive communication.

Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Communicative Disorders Assistant Diploma
- Registration with CDAAC
- Qualifies and acquires individual professional liability insurance.
- Has a valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Up-to-date First Aid certificate.
- Additional qualifications and training are a bonus.
Additional Requirements
- At least 2 years experience working in the field but willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience working with children with a wide range of developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Understanding of neurodivergent affirming therapies.
- Experience in play-based therapies for children.
- Experience working with children in group programs
