Montreal, Quebec, Canada Behaviour Interactive Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Behaviour, you will be entrusted with championing our recruitment efforts for key technical roles critical to the studio's success, ranging from Unreal Engine gameplay programmers, graphics programmers to AI specialists and network architects.

You'll operate as both a recruitment business partner and a tactical sourcing powerhouse, collaborating with industry-leading creative and technical leaders to understand their vision and build world-class teams that bring our games to life.

In this role you will:
  • Own the full recruiting life cycle for highly specialized and senior technical roles across multiple projects and core studio functions.
  • Work with studio directors, tech leads, and producers to design and implement talent strategies that attract top technical candidates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to technical leaders, building strong relationships and providing expert guidance on recruitment strategies and best practices.
  • Tap into a wide spectrum of talent pools by leveraging non-traditional sources such as game jams, modding communities, open-source contributors, and global development forums, alongside LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and professional networks.
  • Champion Behaviour's presence at leading industry events, conferences, community socials, and campus career fairs to continually strengthen our technical talent pipeline.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with passive talent by understanding what motivates top industry professionals.
  • Actively contribute to market and talent insights and competitor analysis to help shape compelling, market-aware offers.
  • Lead and execute strategic projects and initiatives focused on attracting and acquiring top technical talent
What we're looking for:
  • Strong track record: 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success hiring for hard-to-fill technical roles.
  • Deep industry & technical knowledge: You speak the language of software development enabling meaningful conversations with specialized candidates and hiring teams
  • Sourcing expertise: You don't source because you need to, you source because it's your bread and butter. Whether that be Boolean searches, competitive intelligence, market mapping, direct outreach on multiple platforms.
  • Relationship engine: Extraordinary skills in building trust and rapport, whether coaching a hiring manager through a new skills assessment or guiding a senior developer through offer negotiations.
  • Passion for games: A real enthusiasm for the video game industry and its unique challenges, ideally, with experience partnering with game studios or having shipped interactive products.
