Care at Home Services is looking to expand and is in search of a casual housekeeper to join our team Reporting to the Nurse Case Manager, the Housekeeping and Laundry Aides are responsible for housekeeping and laundry in a community setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist clients within their home with general housekeeping support which includes but not limited to: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, surface cleaning, organization, laundry, bed making, etc.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of elder and staff safety

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Desire to work within senior community population
  • Must provide Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check upon hire
  • Current Workplace Hazardous Material Information's Systems certificate
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to spend time standing, walking, bending, stretching and lifting while cleaning and providing laundry services

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour
