MUST HAVE A CAR TO DRIVE

We are a housekeeping program for low-income seniors funded by the City of Calgary.

We offer flexible hours from 9 AM - 4 PM Monday to Friday.

We are seeking reliable individuals with experience working with older adults.

The position involves light cleaning for 1-3 clients per day in their homes. We are looking for casual help for between 2-30 hours weekly. The majority of our clients are currently in the deep SE/SW/NE and we are seeking housekeepers that can drive all over Calgary.

Requirements:

  • MUST DRIVE - We cannot hire without a valid driver's license. Mileage is paid at 65 cents per km.
  • Must be able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Police check before beginning work (reimbursed after 3 months employment)
  • Must be flexible for the schedule and driving all over Calgary.
  • Must be trustworthy, friendly and professional.
  • Must be comfortable using a mobile phone the app "Jobber" to clock in and out
  • Must be comfortable cleaning for seniors in their homes, this is not a care facility. You would be driving between your clients.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English with the housekeeping supervisor via text.

What we offer:

  • Flexible scheduling and independent work environment
  • Starting wage $18 with raise after 3 months. Holiday pay at time and a half
  • Monthly RRSP after one year of employment
  • Support at all times

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
