TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPING/DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR

Requirements:

· Minimum Grade 12 education.

· Courses in Hospitality or equivalent desired.

· Three years supervisory experience in housekeeping and/or Dining.

· Ability to manage staff and resources on a strict budget.

· Must be computer literate.

· Excellent human relations skills to deal with staff, residents and family members

· Must be a competent person as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

· Good written and oral communication.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Direct and supervise the activities of the Housekeeping and Dining Room to provide a high level of service.

· Ensure shift routines are current and monitors workflow.

· Monitor payroll for their department.

· Evaluate performance and service delivery and make changes as necessary to ensure consistency and quality service.

· Train Housekeepers/Dining Room Staff and produces work schedules.

· Maintain direct contact with residents to resolve issues.

· Assist in meal service, housekeeping and laundry services as required.
