Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

The project coordinator will serve as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all logistical activities are aligned with project goals, timelines, and budget requirements.  As a Project Coordinator, the job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Participate and support the Project Manager in all phases of the project lifecycle, including tracking and updating business opportunities, developing proposals, and overseeing project execution.
  2. Monitor the progress of projects and address issues proactively, flagging and escalating to management when necessary.
  3. Work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to provide accurate estimates and ensure seamless delivery of services.
  4. Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  5. Ensure meticulous handling of purchase orders, from documentation and subcontractor coordination to service/delivery completion and invoicing.
  6. Report status of current and pending project opportunities on a weekly basis.
  7. Assist with the maintenance of project files and preparation of reports.
  8. Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and inventory management.
  9. Responsibilities may change or be added to as per management's sole discretion.
  10. Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  1. Completion of post-secondary school (university or college) is required.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Self-reliant, organized, and good at prioritizing.
