Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is exceptional. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant, from food preparation to customer service.

Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and kitchen.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any special requests from customers.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Experience with food preparation and serving techniques is a plus.
