Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort St John, BC, for a Property Manager. The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of properties, including tenant relations, lease administration, property inspections, maintenance coordination, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role involves managing vendor contracts, addressing tenant inquiries and concerns, budgeting, and maintaining property records. Identifying opportunities for property improvements and assisting with marketing vacant units will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, lease administration, and tenant relations.
  • Skills in property maintenance coordination, property inspections, and vendor management.
  • Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and record-keeping abilities.
  • Proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, property laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office tools and Yardi property management software are an asset.
  • Experience in marketing and strategies to attract quality tenants is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field is preferred.
