Neighbourhood Better Living Belleville, a 128-bed long-term care home, is an exciting new project that will be dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents in partnership with UniversalCare Canada Inc., our family members, valued employees, and community partners. Residents will be admitted in the Spring of 2026.

Our team is currently hiring for a new vacancy, a permanent full-time Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

-Completes all routine/preventative maintenance work and inspections.

-Troubleshoots and performs repairs on all building equipment.

-Responds promptly to all maintenance emergencies and addresses maintenance concerns of residents and family members.

-Completes all documentation related to maintenance and maintains accurate records.

-Assists in maintaining/cleaning equipment, reports equipment concerns to the Departmental Manager, as required.

-Assists with resident admittances, lifts and transfers, departures and death.

-Participates as a member for assigned committees and attends meetings, as required.

-Ensures compliance with organizational standards, the collective agreement, as applicable and all relevant regulations, and/or legislative requirements and strategic initiatives.

-Supports with on-boarding of new hires, students and volunteers, as required.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-A secondary-school diploma or equivalent.

-Knowledge of maintenance equipment, best practices and procedures.

-Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow instructions in English.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong relationship building abilities.

-Proficiency with computerized documentation systems.

-Satisfactory vulnerable sector check and TB test.
