Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, emphasizing teamwork, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operation
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
• Familiarity with POS system and basic cashiering skills
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for order entry, bill calculation, and cash handling
• Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and food preparation basics
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 13 per week
