Job description

A group of primary care physicians are currently recruiting for a Medical Office Assistant to join their multidisciplinary practice which includes six physicians, a physician assistant, nurses, and other Medical Office Assistants. They are seeking a responsible, organized, and motivated individual to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Rooming patients
  • Collecting and scanning documents and payments
  • Working in a team environment.
  • Handling patient registration and check-in procedures
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow ups
  • Maintain electronic medical records accurately, ensuring privacy compliance
  • Perform general administrative tasks
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy compliance

Qualifications

  • Medical office administration diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience with phone systems and office admin tasks
  • Able to multitask
  • Efficient time management and organization skills

Hours

This position is full-time at 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime hours only

Vacation

3 weeks vacation (120 hours annually)

Start date: As soon as the candidate is available

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
