Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in automotive repair within a professional dealership environment. The Lube Technician will play a vital part in ensuring customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and vehicle performance.

Duties

  • Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and filter replacements efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and communicate findings to customers or service advisors.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete service tasks.
  • Assist with additional maintenance and repair tasks as needed, including tire rotations and battery checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate.
  • If you are red seal mechanic there will be a conversation about wages.

Requirements

  • Mechanical experience is highly preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair, red seal ticket would be awesome.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and follow policies for safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
