Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician or final year apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical systems. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about automotive technology and eager to contribute to vehicle safety and performance. Looking for a respectful, punctual final year automotive apprentice or licensed technician . Hours may vary. Must have a clean drivers abstract.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and modifications
  • Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides to accurately identify issues
  • Assist with vehicle assembly, part replacement, and system upgrades
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed for each vehicle
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Proven mechanic experience is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
  • Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software and technical manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify potential issues before becoming problematic.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
