Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance and Warehouse Technician to support the smooth operation of our pharmaceutical warehouse and production facility. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of general warehouse and maintenance activities such as repairs, facility improvement tasks, including cabling, painting, lighting, light plumbing, and electro-mechanical support work. Perform day-to-day operating activities warehouse. This includes receipt of materials, pick and pack requirements, preparation of customer shipments, interacting with transportation companies, while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving of all incoming shipments of materials and efficiently manage storage space and execute movements of inventory
  • Coordinate the internal handling of all production waste and manage waste pickup and disposal
  • Pick and pack for outbound shipments
  • Maintain warehouse area clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
  • Perform general maintenance, repair (painting, minor electrical work, minor carpentry, minor plumbing), and upkeep of warehouse, production areas, and utility spaces.
  • Operate lift trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support production operations by ensuring facility infrastructure (relocation of equipment, racks, and other electro-mechanical setups) and assist is in optimal condition.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, as well as company policies.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and other departments as needed. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or technical certification in maintenance, electro-mechanical, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facility maintenance or handyman work (preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment).
  • Valid forklift/lift truck operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Hands-on experience with painting, plumbing, basic electrical, and mechanical repair.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions, manuals, and safety documents.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
