**Building Maintenance Technician**
- **Status**:Full time, Permanent
- **Location**:Ville Saint-Laurent

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Coordinator, the Building Maintenance Technician will be supporting the maintenance department with general minor and major repairs in our Ville Saint-Laurent facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performing routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Help with the reparations of concrete floors.
- Repairing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Inspecting buildings and equipment for wear and tear.
- Identifying and reporting any safety hazards.
- Performing minor electrical repairs.
- Replacing light bulbs and other consumable items.
- Maintaining the grounds and landscaping.
- Ensuring that all safety and environmental regulations are met.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering new materials as needed.
- Move and relocate office furniture.
- Assisting with larger construction and renovation projects.
- Perform other related tasks as required.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in building maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- High School Diploma (D.E.S.) or equivalent.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Experience with concrete repairs.
- Ability to work in a cold (-25°C) and dusty environment.
- Always maintain corporate safety procedures.
- Dynamic and energetic.
- Motivated, with a positive attitude.
