Position: R&D Associate

NutraLab Canada Corporation is one of Canada's premier contract manufacturers of natural health supplements. We are looking for an R&D Associate to join our Research and Development team. The R&D Associate will support the development, optimization, and documentation of natural health product formulations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about science, innovation, and the natural health industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the research, formulation, and development of new natural health products.
  • Conduct literature reviews, ingredient research, and feasibility assessments.
  • Prepare and test prototypes, including physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations.
  • Document R&D work according to regulatory and internal standards.
  • Support stability studies and product improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Production.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in natural health products, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food science.
  • Strong understanding of raw ingredients, formulation principles, and lab practices.
  • Excellent documentation, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
