**JOB PURPOSE**:
Collaborate between Research & Development and Regulatory Affairs department to facilitate the smooth transfer of nutraceutical formulations into commercial products aligning with Health Canada regulations.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct research on new ingredients used for nutraceutical products and determine raw material requirements.
- Conduct regular R&D laboratory trials on natural health care formulations. Understand the process for each sort of finished product and provide feedback on a regular basis.
- Conduct regulatory operations including filing, approval and launch of new products in Canada for customer projects aligning with the Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate (NNHPD) regulations.
- Provide continued regulatory support to ensure compliance of the marketed products with NNHPD regulations.
- Monitor the regulatory environment and interpret any changes and associated impact.
- Engage with internal departments such as purchasing, manufacturing, inventory control, quality assurance/quality control, and customer support as required.

**EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL ATTAINMENT**:

- B.Sc. in Chemistry or related Science discipline.
- Experience in a lab based research environment is required.
- Experience in a regulatory affair position is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and versatile work environment.
- Must be able to understand and comply with standard operating procedures.
- Must be an active learner to adapt to current and changing regulations.
- Strong verbal and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
