The Opportunity

We're hiring a Brewer to support day-to-day production across the brewhouse and cellar, with packaging/RTD support as needed. This is a hands-on role for someone who runs clean process, follows specs, keeps tight records, and takes quality personally. You'll work closely with our Production Manager and production team to hit the schedule safely and efficiently, while keeping the brewery organized, sanitary, and operating at a high standard as we continue to grow.

What You'll Do

Brewhouse Operations

• Execute brews from start to finish
• Hit target specs and follow recipes precisely (timing, temps, additions, SOPs)
• Perform brewhouse CIP and maintain strong brewhouse cleanliness and organization.
• Support RTD/tea production as scheduled

Cellaring and Quality Checks

• Perform daily fermentation and cellar checks, including gravity, temperature, and pH.
• Dry hop, transfer, carbonate, and fine/filter (as applicable) according to SOPs
• Yeast handling and basic yeast management (collection, storage, pitching, monitoring)
• Complete CIP of fermenters, brights, hoses, fittings, and process lines to standard.
• Identify and report quality risks, process deviations, and equipment concerns early.

Packaging and Keg Support

• Support packaging runs as required (setup support, changeovers, basic troubleshooting)
• Keg washing, keg filling, keg organization and inventory rotation
• Draft line cleanings (scheduled)

Documentation and Systems

• Complete accurate production records (brewsheets, CIP logs, QA logs, EKOS entries, etc.)
• Maintain clear handoffs and communication across shifts and departments
• Contribute ideas that improve safety, efficiency, and consistency (kaizen mindset)

Safety, Sanitation, and Compliance

• Maintain high sanitation standards across all production areas every day
• Follow all safety protocols related to chemicals, CO₂, heat, pressure, and equipment
• Follow all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations for food safety and beverage production

What You BringRequired

• Brewing-related education and/or 2+ years of hands-on brewery experience
• Strong understanding of sanitation and clean process (CIP discipline, hose/valve management, QA habits)
• Confident with daily production measurements (gravity, temperature, pH) and recordkeeping
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment
• Mechanical aptitude (pumps, valves, seals, basic troubleshooting)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving 55 lb grain bags, handling hoses, and moving kegs

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with EKOS (or similar brewery software)
• Forklift certification
• ProServe, WHMIS, First Aid
