Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SAFETY/COMPLIANCE professional to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our workplace adheres to all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. The ideal candidate will promote a culture of safety, conduct compliance audits, and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across all departments.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety standards.
- Provide safety training sessions for new and existing employees to promote awareness and best practices.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, or near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in safety management or compliance roles within a similar industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental health standards, and industry-specific safety protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training sessions and reporting findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification such as OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards before they result in incidents.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
