P&H MillingP&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company. The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products. The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati. In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

- Oversee daily scheduling, load planning, and dispatch for private and 3PL fleets.
- Mentor and train team members; ensure coverage during absences or peak periods.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Maintenance).
- Monitor fleet performance to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Align transportation activities with supply chain and production goals.
- Drive efficiency in routing, scheduling, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with HOS, Ontario Highway Traffic Act, and safety standards.
- Utilize TMS tools (Descartes, Samsara) for data-driven decisions.
- Track and report KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per load, carrier performance.
- Support sustainability, safety, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- 10 years in transportation, including 5 years in planning/dispatch and 2 years managing a team.
- Certifications such as CCLP or P.Log are strong assets.
- Experience with bulk, intermodal, and rail transportation preferred.
- Proficient in Descartes TMS, Samsara Fleet Management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
