About Us

Jordanna Bubar Communications Inc. is a creative marketing agency based in Edmonton that helps Canadian businesses stand out online through strategy, design, and storytelling.

We're looking for a Marketing Assistant who's excited to learn, experiment, and grow in all areas of digital marketing — from social media and design to SEO, ads, and websites.

This is a flexible remote contract perfect for a student or early-career creative looking to gain hands-on experience in a real agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design, and schedule social media content (posts, stories, reels, etc.)
  • Write engaging captions and manage community engagement
  • Track performance analytics and prepare reports
  • Assist with Google Ads and Meta Ads setup and monitoring
  • Support SEO tasks (keywords, content updates, Google tools)
  • Help with WordPress website updates and design support
  • (Optional) Capture and edit photos or videos for clients in the Edmonton area

Qualifications

  • Based in Edmonton or surrounding area (required)
  • Strong written communication and creative design skills
  • Experience with any of the following is an asset:

Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Business Suite

  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn new tools
  • Own computer and smartphone
  • Reliable transportation for occasional client visits (approx. once per month, optional)
