We are now hiring an Inventory Control Supervisor to support a food manufacturing facility located in London, Ontario In this role, the successful candidate will be managing all inventory-related functions to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company standards and oversee daily inventory operations, direct cycle counting activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and champion in ongoing improvements in inventory processes.
Job Location: London, ON
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Compensation: $70,000 per year + benefits + potential OT hours when availabile
Shift Structure: Day shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily inventory warehouse operations, ensuring all transactions and movements are recorded accurately.
- Manage and organize cycle counts, full physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.
- Analyze inventory discrepancies, determine underlying causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise records within the ERP/WMS system.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality teams to address and resolve inventory concerns.
- Track inventory levels and provide data to planning teams to support replenishment and forecasting efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve accuracy and minimize variances.
- Ensure materials are stored, labeled, and handled in compliance with company standards.
- Compile and deliver inventory accuracy reports and key performance indicators to management.
- Assist with audit activities and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain
- Must have atleast 5 years of experience as an Inventory Control Supervisor
- Must have experience within the food manufacturing industry
- Must have proven and direct warehouse management experience, ability to lead warehouse processes, reconciliate numbers and have a strong understanding of shipping/receiving, logistics, staging and inventory.
- Strong knowledge of MS Dynamics and other ERP/MRP/WMS systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be an open communicator with strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and inventory reporting tools.
