Job Summary Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Inventory Control Associate oversees managing products in our ERP system, recognizes and resolves quantity discrepancies, prepares quantity reports, creates request tickets as needed, and prepares extensive quantitative statements that support inventory control duties. The associate also assesses and monitors warehouse transactions. Pay: $20/hr Responsibilities Develop and maintain processes for accounting for inventory in the warehouses and supervise the cycle count program. Audit paperwork, investigate variances, and implement improvement plans. Audit inventory movement processes and paper flow errors, identifying inconsistencies that affect inventory accuracy. Coordinate and oversee daily cycle counts of raw material inventory and make proper adjustments according to accounting procedures. Maintain cycle‑count records for management review and provide related reports. Analyze inventory trends. Work with other departments to manage inventory practices (FIFO) to minimize discontinued or overstated material. Create documentation using appropriate computer programs, including MS Office applications. Ensure inventory accuracy of cannabis materials and supplies by analyzing and documenting inventory records. Identify and advise on root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3 years of inventory system experience, preferably in food manufacturing. Skilled in inventory control practices requiring strong analytical and problem‑solving attributes. Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred. Experience operating a forklift, hand truck, stand‑up forklift and scissor lift. Ability to perform unit‑measure conversion calculations and other mathematical calculations reasonably necessary to perform job duties. Multi‑tasking and ability to work under time constraints. Ability to function under stressful conditions and interact cordially with co‑workers. Physical demands: standing and walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
