Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, work with fresh ingredients, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Plate dishes attractively and ensure timely service
  • Follow sanitation guidelines to uphold food safety standards
  • Support team members during busy service times to ensure smooth operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service roles
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Prior restaurant or kitchen experience highly desirable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
