Position Description
We are looking for a SharePoint developer to help design and create a customized SharePoint solution. The resource must have the ability to understand what is needed to make the site functional and easy to update, but at the same time make it aesthetically appealing, visually intuitive and user-friendly

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reviewing website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals.
  • Configuring the SharePoint to specified requirements.
  • Creating visually attractive and easy-to-navigate layouts
  • Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  • Testing functionality and debugging code.
  • Reviewing website interface and software stability and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  • Work side-by-side with the staff to ensure the development of internal capabilities and maintenance after implementation

Education

  • University Degree or College Diploma focused on Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • A minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant work experience in SharePoint development
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues.

Other Requirements

  • Experience visually designing and establishing the look and feel for SP Online sites/pages
  • Experience with PowerApp and PowerAutomate (Flow) would be ab asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • Have a firm understanding of what can (and cannot) be done in SharePoint Online
  • High-level coding skills.
  • Ability to solve complex software issues.
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Self motivated and detail orientated.
  • Experience creating SharePoint solutions in support of learning initiatives would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated bilingual written and oral communication skills
