About The Opportunity
Our client, a professional member association is seeking an administrative professional to create a structure, framework, and templates within SharePoint in order to restructure an environment for staff, members and external partners to manage, access and collaborate on documents, reports and other materials.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to developing a landing page
  • Create folder hierarchies, and document libraries, to improve searchability and compliance
  • Create standardized file naming conventions and document management practices within SharePoint to ensure consistency, accuracy, and ease of access across the organization, including a process for archiving documentation.
  • Rename and restructure files and documentation based on agreed-upon standards.
  • Perform audits of files to identify duplicates, outdated versions, and misfiled documents
  • Migrate files in SharePoint into new structure and folder hierarchies
  • Create instruction documents to support approved file naming practices, document storage procedures and SharePoint best practices
  • Support the roll out implementation of the new SharePoint environment

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience taking on a SharePoint re-structure and manage/migrate between files over the course of the project.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills in English

About the Job
This position is a full time/contract position starting in January, offering a wage of between $30-$40 per hour. The client offers a hybrid work environment that would see you in office periodically, conveniently located outside of the downtown core with available parking.
