Location: Windsor, Ontario

Rotation: Mon-Friday

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Inspector to support the client in overseeing a series of 24 scheduled integrity digs over the next year. This role specifically requires experience managing pipeline digs within a facility environment, ensuring all work is conducted safely and in accordance with regulatory and operational standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and compliance of critical pipeline infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pipeline integrity digs conducted within a facility, ensuring all activities adhere to strict safety and operational protocols.
  • Conduct inspections of pipeline construction and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Review construction drawings, schematics, and permits related to integrity dig activities.
  • Monitor excavation, welding, coating, and backfilling operations to identify faults, corrosion, leaks, or other concerns.
  • Utilize inspection tools and technologies such as ultrasonic testing, X-ray, and magnetic flux systems.
  • Generate detailed reports documenting findings and recommend necessary repairs or corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and stakeholders to effectively address any pipeline integrity issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline inspection or a similar role.
  • Proven experience overseeing pipeline work within facility settings.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and inspection practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards within the oil & gas industry.
  • High attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the Sarnia/Windsor area.
