Payroll Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of the payroll for both the Brantford & Paris facilities. Additionally, this role is involved in the credit process relating to credit terms, potential credit concerns, invoicing and customer input into OP and SAP as well as providing assistance to members of the Finance Department.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll software implementation
• Processing payroll and maintain employee information as well as other payroll related tasks i.e. provide payroll related reports as requested; maintain bonus eligibility worksheet; reconcile RRSP and garnishment remittances and process ROE's as required
• Yearend activities i.e. Payroll GL closing, issuing t4s etc
• Provide monthly OT & hours worked analysis
• Process invoices and report any credit issues
• Provide support in AR recording and reporting
• Create adhoc reports upon request

Experience

• Completion of accounting college/university program
• Experience and knowledge of payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• ADP experience asset
• Experience with payroll software implementation a must
• ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
• Ability to work flexible hours occasionally to ensure project completion
