One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a
Logistics Manager
in
Cambridge, ON
region for their facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
  • Oversee international shipments, with a particular emphasis on U.S. market operations.
  • Administer all customs clearance processes, liaise with brokers, and ensure compliance with CUSMA regulations.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with carriers and brokers (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.).
  • Coordinate the shipment of high-value and high-volume precision components.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and implement continuous improvements in tracking and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate closely with production and procurement teams to align material flow with project schedules.
  • Supervise the preparation of all shipping documentation, particularly for international shipments.
  • Lead, mentor, and support team members to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in international shipping and logistics management.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of CUSMA regulations, customs procedures, and import/export duties.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-border shipments between Canada and the U.S.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
