Hi, I'm Laura, the Chief Brand Officer here at JENNY BIRD. We're looking for an Art Director to join our team. As Art Director at JENNY BIRD, the execution of creative deliverables is on your shoulders—including communicating creative ideas, implementing marketing strategies, and developing design solutions. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, you champion creative concepts to project teams and lead their execution. With mentorship from a Creative Director to help you grow, you'll lead a team of designers to excellence. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for design and visual communication.

In this Role, you will:

Lead and manage the creative services teamTranslating Associate Creative Director's vision into tangible tasksDeveloping & upholding brand guidelinesEnsuring a consistent visual identity across platformsTranslating marketing insights and performance data into creative strategies that drive engagement and conversionAligning creative storytelling with brand positioning and seasonal prioritiesChampioning innovation in content formats and storytelling approaches across digital and physical touchpointsEnsuring creative executions reflect evolving market trends and audience behaviorProviding creative leadership in cross-functional meetings to ensure cohesive communication between creative, marketing, eCommerce, and product teamsBuild relationships with and manage photographers Take ownership of ecomm and off-figure photoshoots - making all ecomm photography selects and guide teams on their usageFinal sign off on ecomm PDPs Conceptualizing sale periods campaignTake shared management of Creative budgetBe the last look for all launches to ensure cohesiveness of storytelling and assets (including Site/App, Emails, Ads, Social, Wholesale, Events, Printed Material)Create all collection lookbooks


Qualifications:

5+ years of work experience that demonstrates impeccable craft and command of creative concepts, visual concepts, art direction and design across a variety of projects with an emphasis on digital but working knowledge of printThe ability to take projects from concept to completion with a history of translating strategic thinking into compelling and creative ideasMaster prioritizer and multi-taskerExperience managing a team of designersPassion for design, art, fashion and culture - a trend hunterExpert in Adobe Creative Suite, including (at minimum) Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, interactive PDF and PhotoshopExperience managing budgets is an assetLeadership abilities to foster learning and excellence among team membersEagerness to collaborate with other creative people
