Salary: $70,000 + $5,000 Performance Bonus at 6 Months + 15% Annual bonus

**This position is 5 days in Office in Mississauga, ON**

Position Overview

The Human Resources & Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR-related functions and ensuring smooth operational processes across the organization. This role manages the full employee lifecycle—including offers, onboarding, performance management, and separations—while ensuring compliance, consistency, and high-quality communication. The HR & Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee the preparation, communication, and administration of all employment offers.
  • Manage separation processes, ensuring timely communication, accurate paperwork, and compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.

2. Performance Management

  • Lead the performance management process, including performance reviews, improvement plans, and ongoing coaching strategies.
  • Monitor employee performance trends and collaborate with leadership to identify and resolve performance-related issues.
  • Support managers in addressing employee concerns and applying consistent performance standards.

3. HR Operations Oversight

  • Supervise all HR operational activities including maintaining employee records, HR systems, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that support organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal standards.

4. Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by addressing concerns, providing guidance, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution, investigations, and corrective actions when necessary.

5. Operational Support & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to support organizational planning and operational improvements.
  • Assist with workforce planning, staffing needs, and departmental coordination to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Review and optimize operational workflows and processes to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, operations management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and performance management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex HR issues.
