Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff within your designated section, ensuring efficient operations and teamwork.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and restaurant standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Monitor kitchen performance, addressing any issues that arise during service to ensure smooth operations.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry, particularly in fine dining or catering settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and culinary arts.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and food service management best practices.
  • Familiarity with dietary department requirements and special dietary needs is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong organizational skills for effective shift management and kitchen operations.

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour
