Position Overview:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets the required standards and codes. You'll play a vital role in maintaining quality across our operations, utilizing your knowledge of industry standards and inspection processes to ensure the success of our projects.
Position Requirements:
· Conducting quality control inspections to ensure compliance with ASME B31.1, B31.3, Section VIII, and CSA Z662 codes
· Reviewing and inspecting welding, materials, and equipment for compliance with specifications
· Using programs like Bluebeam, SpoolFab and SharePoint to manage documentation and project plans
· Communicating inspection results and working with the team to resolve any issues
· Maintaining detailed inspection reports and documentation
· Attention to detail and strong communication skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment
Minimum Required Licenses and Certifications:
· CWB Weld Inspection certification – Level 1 Minimum
· Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, Section VIII and CSA Z662 codes
· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & SharePoint, Bluebeam, and SpoolFab drafting program preferred
· Experience with P&ID's & Isometrics
· Standard First Aid
· H2S Alive
· WHMIS
· CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
· Ground Disturbance (Level 2)
· Additional Safety Training (Considered an asset)
· Class 5 driver's license – with a clean Drivers Abstract – Minimum Requirement
· Able to pass pre-employment A&D
