Grande Prairie AB TV W, Canada B&S Sandblasting and Painting Ltd. Full time

Position Summary:

The Sandblaster is responsible for the operation of our sandblasting equipment. Must be Mechanically inclined. This position will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of sandblasting equipment. This position will also be responsible for loading and unloading the equipment, as well as general shop maintenance.

Essential Duties:

  • Check in and check out all equipment, supplies, and materials used in the production of our sandblasting services
  • Maintain and clean equipment daily
  • Maintain and maintain shop cleaning schedule throughout the day
  • Load and unload sandblasting equipment on a daily basis
  • General shop maintenance including but not limited to sandblasting, painting, and other duties assigned by management
  • Perform general housekeeping duties on company property (i.e., trash removal, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Sandblasting Experience is REQUIRED
  • Mature, Reliable, Must have Loader experience, Mechanical knowledge
  • Class 5 and transportation required
  • Ability to work overtime as needed in order to meet production schedules required by management
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and verbal orders or written correspondence required by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
