The Role: AI Solutions Lead

Are you a rockstar AI engineer who's obsessed with LLMs, real-world impact, and transforming outdated industries?

We're looking for an AI Solutions Lead to own the strategy, architecture, and execution of Optimy's LLM-driven features across our entire AI LeadLogic suite. From prompt design and RAG pipelines to model selection and vector DB optimization — you'll be at the center of how AI meets automotive sales.

This isn't a back-office AI research role. It's a chance to deploy bleeding-edge models into production, solve complex problems across dealership workflows (CRM, inventory, service, and more), and create AI experiences that customers feel every day.

What You'll Do

• Prompt Engineering & RAG Development (40%)

• Craft prompts, chain-of-thought flows, and retrieval pipelines that power real customer interactions. Build working proof-of-concepts and hand off clean, tested implementations to engineering.

• AI Strategy & Tooling (20%)

• Choose the right LLMs, vector stores, orchestrators, guardrails, and evaluation methods. Own the AI tech stack and its evolution.

• Architecture Oversight (20%)

• Define and continuously improve a modular, flexible AI architecture that can scale across multiple products and use cases.

• Cross-Functional Leadership (15%)

• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering to ship high-impact AI features that directly address dealership pain points.

• AI Trends & Innovation (5%)

• Stay on the bleeding edge. Run structured bake-offs, test new models, and bring emerging capabilities into our product roadmap.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• 2+ years building LLM or generative AI products (SaaS preferred)

• Proven expertise in prompt engineering (zero/few-shot, system, CoT, function-calling)

• Deep knowledge of both open and commercial LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with RAG and vector DBs (Weaviate, Pinecone, FAISS)

• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration tools

• Strong product intuition — you can turn dealership workflows into elegant AI-powered solutions

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with C-level execs and clients

Bonus Points

• A public repo showcasing your AI hobby projects or toolkits

• Experience with non-LLM machine learning and large-scale datasets
