Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server and Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are highly preferred. The bartender will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences through excellent service and hospitality.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service
  • Assist in setting up the bar area before shifts and cleaning up after closing

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
  • Familiarity with Micros POS or similar POS systems is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor
  • Must be at least 21 years old if applying for bartending position
  • Fluent in English
  • Conversational skills in Chinese preferred
